RHS Hilltop aptly named ‘The Home of Gardening Science’, is the UK’s first dedicated horticultural scientific centre of excellence and has opened to the public – protecting the future of plants, people and the planet at the iconic RHS Garden Wisley.

White Pop Chairs were specified through Furniture for Schools for the project. The two learning studios required lightweight, stackable chairs for flexibility, so the space could easily be moved around and reconfigured for different uses throughout the day.

The contemporary interior balances the warmth of natural materials with the simplicity of exposed concrete and steel structural elements. Room length windows allow for light to pour in through the garden and into the biophilic work space.

Pop chair was one of Origin’s very first products to be developed and sold, whilst it isn’t a new design it’s functional qualities are more relevant than ever with the growing demand for agile work and learning spaces.

Origin’s poly products are made in the UK from over 50% recycled content and are entirely made from polypropylene so can be easily recycled in a more sustainable approach.
