Origin have recently supplied Contour Chairs and Graphic Tables to the Kampus’ canal side garden in Manchester. The garden is surrounded by Manchester’s favourite food, drink and shopping spots that you can stumble upon almost by chance. Flashes of green are set against sandstone and warm brick reds, old cobbles and the beautiful canal.

Origin have supplied Kampus with furniture for 3 installs for their indoor and outside spaces over the past 3 years. Origin’s outdoor furniture brought a modern aesthetic to the garden space, combining precise design, clean-lines and graphic shapes. Contours slender wire seat offers a comfortable outdoor chair alongside the ultra thin, sleek table tops of Graphic.

‘Origin’s Contour Chairs and Graphic Tables are manufactured in Burnley, which is only 30 miles away from Kampus in Manchester. We like locally manufactured products, it isn’t always possible but when it is, saves a whole load of carbon in the shipping process. If this is compared to products manufactured in say China, 5000 miles away then you can imagine how much carbon has been saved, especially with heavier materials such as steel.’

‘Also, our locality has enabled us to work with Kampus on a bespoke design, integrating an umbrella into the table to suit their requirements. Delivering 80 chairs and 20 tables with a bespoke design in under 4 weeks felt like a real achievement. This is the 3rd project we have supplied furniture for at Kampus, seeing happy customers re-order is a testament to our products, service and the relationships we enjoy developing.’
